Are your plates guaranteed?

Absolutely! Everything we sell is fully guaranteed. If for any reason you’re not happy with your purchase, simple return the plates to me within 30 days and I’ll give you a full refund including postage. I’m not happy until you are. I make every effort possible to accurately describe the license plates on my web site.

Do you have more plates than are listed on your site?

I have thousands and thousands of plates available. If you have a special request, please e-mail me at chsakryd@aol.com. If I have what you are looking for, I’ll get it on the website for purchase.

Do you sell reproductions of license plates?

No. Again, no. All of my plates are the real thing. In some cases, there are booster or souvenir type plates listed if I think they might be of interest to collectors. These plates are clearly labeled as such.

Are any of your plates repainted, or touched-up?

No, as a general rule. Where scarcer plates are involved, a particular plate may be repainted or touched up, but this will always be clearly stated in the description.

I’ve been burned before with plates that look better in the pictures than in real life.

What are my payment options?

If you use the shopping cart, payment is made thru PayPal. If you want to pay by check or money order, follow the instructions under the “How to Pay by Check or Money Order” link. Please make sure all payment you send in the mail has a detailed description of your purchase so as not to delay your shipment. I do not wait for checks to clear, unless they are for over $100. ALPCA members always ship immediately!

What shipping services do you use?

My preferred carrier is USPS (United States Postal Service).

I live overseas. How does this affect the cost of shipping?

The online shopping cart calculates shipping for destinations within the United States and Canada only. I will calculate international shipping charges on an individual basis. Generally, the cost of shipping outside North America is double that shown in the shopping cart. I only charge for postage, no hidden “handling fees” here.

Do you sell license plates on eBay?

I have been selling under the name chsakryd since 1998. Feel free to check my feedback.

Do you combine shipping with eBay auction wins?

I am happy to combine shipping of purchases from the website with eBay wins. Many customers combine web site purchases with eBay wins to save on shipping costs. I will refund excess shipping costs calculated by the shopping carts when purchases are combined with eBay wins.

How often do you ship?

I generally ship orders within two business days of receiving payment, but always at least twice a week. If I am travelling, you will get an e-mail notice telling you approximately when your order will be shipped.

Will I receive the actual license plate in the picture, or do you substitute plates?

The plate you see on the website is the plate you will receive. Most of the plates shown on this site are one of a kind. There are some stickers for sale, and sometimes the serial number will be different, but otherwise exactly the same as shown.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes, I do. Winners of my eBay auctions will automatically receive a coupon for a 5% discount shipped with their auction win, good for approximately 30 days. Web Site purchases over $50 will receive a 10% discount good for 3 months. Purchases over $250 will receive coupons good for 12 months.

How do I use the coupon?

Entering a valid coupon number (e.g. ABC-123) in the appropriate place on the home page will automatically adjust the prices of all license plates on the site. The coupon number must be entered for the discount to be applied. These discounts will be reflected in your shopping cart.
